Marching Band

Starting in the summer and ending in late fall, the entirety of Angola’s High School band takes the field as the Angola Marching Hornets. The Marching Hornets perform in various parades and at community events throughout the summer. In the fall, this group of performers presents their competitive show for the season during half-time at home football games for the community. The Marching Hornets also perform in various invitationals across the state, ISSMA events, including Regionals, Semi-State, and State Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium and in Bands Of America competitions. Their 2021 show Cube Squared finished 6th at State Finals, and the 2022 show Purple Thread finished 10th at State Finals. In 2023 they went back as State Finalist and place 7th.
